S’s opinion: I love GaaNaru. There should be a lot more of it than there currently is. This one is just perfect in the way how it deals with the changes in Gaara after the fight with Naruto. The way Gaara is completely clueless and vulnerable and at the same time incredibly blunt considering what he wants. I mean, only Gaara would say: “I need lubrication, the kind used for anal sex.” deadpan to a stranger. And the humor is great, especially Kankuro having to deal with Gaara’s sudden bouts of affection. And it’s not a sappy romantic fic either ie. no holding hands and sweet whispers of making love.
Notable about it is the way the characters stay IC or at least behave in a believable way. No sweet, happy-go-lucky, mushy and weepy Gaara in here, the writer has really put some thought to Gaara’s character. And I loved the not-so-innocent Naruto. ^^ Lots of steamy sex ensue.
